Before Use
- Charge the Collar: Ensure the collar is fully charged.
- Select the Correct Switch: If using a single collar, set the remote to switch 1. Using switch 2 is for dual-dog setups and will not work with a single collar.
Do I need to pair the collar with the remote?
The collar and remote come pre-paired when you receive the package, so there's no need for additional pairing. If you purchase an extra collar or need to add more collars to your existing setup, you'll need to pair them with the remote yourself.
How long can my dog wear the collar at a time?
Your dog should wear the collar for no more than 8 hours at a time to avoid discomfort or irritation. Regularly check for a comfortable fit, remove the collar when not training, and ensure the strap is dry to prevent skin sensitivity.
Are these stun collars waterproof? Can my dog wear them in the rain or while swimming?The dog stun collars are waterproof; the remote control and the collar itself are waterproof, so they are suitable for rainy days. However, if the collar gets wet, it's best to remove it and let it air dry. For safety, do not use the stun function if the collar is wet, and if the collar is still damp, consider removing it to prevent skin irritation.
What is the best age and size to use dog training collars?
Dog training collars are generally recommended for dogs that are at least 6 months old and weigh around 8-10 pounds or more. Ensure the collar fits properly and consult a professional trainer for responsible use.
What is the purpose of the patch (spring tab) on the package?
The included spring clip will work even better for dogs with long fur.
Can I use more than two collars for multiple dogs?
Models such as 625, 643, 628,and 642 support a maximum of two collars, one for each dog. Please refer to the user manual for instructions on how to pair additional collars with the remote control.
What is the Training Light mode used for?
The Training Light is a gentle visual cue that’s ideal for evening walks, low-light environments, or dogs that are more responsive to visual signals. It lets you get your dog’s attention without using sound or stimulation, making it a great addition to your training toolkit.
After Use
- Turn Off the Collar and Remote: Power down both devices to preserve battery life.
- Clean and Dry: Wipe the collar with a dry cloth and let it air dry if it got wet.
My dog's collar isn't the right size—too small or too big?
Our standard collar length is 70 cm. If the collar doesn't fit your dog, please contact us at support@soonceja.com, and we will assist you in exchanging or adjusting it to the correct size.
Why does my collar have a short battery life?
The battery life of the collars can vary based on usage. Features like vibration, tone, stimulation, and LED functions for nighttime use can affect battery duration. Additionally, cold temperatures can reduce battery performance. To maximize battery life, use these features sparingly and ensure both the remote and collar are fully charged.
Why isn't my collar working?
Ensure the collar is fully charged before use. If you're using a single collar, make sure to select switch 1 on your remote. Choosing switch 2 (for dual-dog setups) will prevent it from working.
What is the warranty period for the Soonceja dog training collar? If the warranty has expired, can I still get after-sales service?
